 In 1916, Adeline Van Buren became the first woman to drive her motorcycle across the country with her sister Augusta. Her story is the inspiration behind our Quilted Biker Jacket. Made from 27 quilt pieces, 5 zippers and 20 snaps, these intricate and structured jackets are the definition of wearable art. Featuring zippered front pockets, lapels that snap to the body of the jacket, epaulet tabs at the shoulders, and snapped tabs at the back of the waistband for an adjustable fit, the Adeline Jackets are a labor of love, from us to you. 

About the Quilt: This is a commercially made quilt that is hand quilted and has little stitched flowers in the white squares. It is in excellent condition and is super soft and sturdy. Estimated to have been made in the 1980's.
